We can’t wait to show you a fabulous time onboard Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady as we sail from Barcelona to Lisbon! It’s time to get ready for your Atlantis holiday and this is the first of several emails you’ll receive to help you plan. Please take a minute to read this entire email as some of it is time sensitive!

Registration with Virgin Voyages is now open, and it’s a good time to start planning your holiday. Getting ready to sail takes only a few minutes and opens a world of possibilities for customizing your vacation. See below for some of the exciting options.
Register Now with Virgin Voyages
You should take a minute now and register with Virgin Voyages directly in their Virgin Sailor App (available for free download in the Apple or Android app store.) Registration only takes a minute and will be open until 9 am on July 13.
Your booking number with Virgin Voyages is as follows: %%vendorbooknum%%
Please note that the Virgin Booking ID is different from your Atlantis confirmation number. Each room only has one Virgin ID. If “N/A” appears above, it means that Virgin is still adding you to the manifest and we will send you an update in the next few days.
From there, you need only set up your account on the Virgin Sailor App. Instructions are in the app. You cannot register on a laptop via the web, as it all takes place in the app.
Please note that there are six steps in the registration process, but each only takes a minute.
IMPORTANT – Deadline for Alhambra Tours is June 18
If you’re interested in seeing one of the world’s truly spectacular historical sites, you need to think fast! Due to a new restrictions on entries, we MUST have your passport details by Wednesday, June 18 in order to confirm your entry to Alhambra (at our Malaga port call).
To book, please do the following:
- Book the Alhambra tour on the Virgin app
- EMAIL your full passport details, ideally sending a photo of it, to info@atlantisevents.com no later than 12 noon PST Wednesday, June 18.
We’re sorry about the last-minute notice on this one but it’s the only option due to these new policies. Thank you for your understanding.
Customize Your Vacation Experience
Virgin is still adding many new tour options to your voyage, and these will be added in the coming days. Also, some of the tours will have additional capacity added in the coming days, so don’t worry if the tour you want says “sold out” right now.
Please note that tours for Marseilles have not been loaded yet and should appear in their system starting late Tuesday, June 17.
We are setting up customizations in stages, as indicated above. For now, there are four major things you can do today:
- Book Shore Things to explore our amazing ports. Virgin has created some of the most engaging, energizing, and fun shore experiences in the world that are perfect for Atlantis guests. They are refreshingly different from other cruise ships’ offerings and exciting!
- Purchase a Bar Tab for a discount! This allows you to buy credit for onboard purchases and get some extra dollars to spend onboard drinks for you or your friends. It’s a sensational deal and only available before we set sail.
- Book Spa Appointments in advance. Virgin has the most gorgeous full-service spa on the high seas, with unique treatments that we know you’ll love.
- Indulge in the optional “Touch of Romance” package, adding a sweet collection of sensational services for one low price. This limited new package offers each couple priority boarding, daily juice specials, a 3-hour Thermal Spa pass, one “Shake for Champagne”, daily delicious bites, a special Sailaway event, and more! All for $250 per room but limited to 90 rooms!
Some dining reservations are open, but we plan on keeping most bookings open for walk-ins to allow you maximum flexibility. Don’t stress about it; if you want a specific restaurant, it will be available to book for early or late seatings. We are holding all times from 7 pm to 9 pm for walk-in bookings throughout the cruise. This flexible system has worked fantastically well for our guests on all Virgin ships and gives you plenty of options every night.
Shows can only be booked once onboard through the local network, but again reservations will be easy as we’ve added extra performances to make sure you can see all that you desire.
If you have any questions or issues with accessing your booking, please call Virgin directly on +1 954 488 2955. However – and this is very important – if their call center refuses to assist you because “This is a charter sailing” or similar statement, please get the agent’s name and call our team on +1 310-859-8800. We’ve been training their staff but it’s not always getting through. (And don’t worry, they will not get in trouble – we’re just trying to find the pockets where the training is not getting through!)
Our Party Themes
Scarlet Lady offers some of the best party spaces we’ve ever seen indoors and out! Costumes are optional, of course, but a little dressed-up fun adds some sparkle to our evenings and T-dances with the following party themes.
| Revolutionary | Those on top might find themselves toppled, when the colorful characters who changed the world step into the light. We welcome all tonight – from barricade stormers to tea tossers to tie-dye flower children to kossack fighters. Royalty appearances at your own risk. After all, sometimes it’s not so good to be the King. Or Queen.
Join the revolution, show up as a soon-to-depart monarch or have the freedom to set your own course, just leave room for passers-by to get swept up in the moment. |
| Summer Sizzle | Our decks sizzle with pulsing beats to celebrate all that make summer special. From blockbuster stars to wild beach fashions to long sultry nights, there’s no escaping this heat! Deck yourself out for a frolicking night filled with all things hot, sweaty, and wild. Or stay cool and watch the craziness any way you choose. |
| Lost At Sea | As we head deep into uncharted waters, the creatures above and below the water line come together for a night of nautical silliness. Colorful sea creatures meet marauding pirates alongside a few mythical characters. Watch out for the occasional cruise ship passenger or TV sitcom escapee. We’re all lost together so who knows what might happen! |
| Neon Playground | Fast, flashy, bright, and silly! We’re turning the Red Room into a musical playground bathed in laser light and filled with bouncy sounds to make you smile. Neon, sparkles, and lights are the way to go, and don’t take yourselves too seriously! |
| Virgin White | Let your imagination run wild at Atlantis’ pinnacle party. Sizzle in the moment, dress up or down in one simple color that everyone looks good in. Be as creative as your dreams, as sexy as your desires, as irreverent as your laughs, or keep it simple with your favorite white shorts. All are welcome here for the perfect night under the stars. |
| Dog Tag T-Dance | The troops come home for Atlantis’ longest-running signature afternoon party. Show your creative strength at our first big outdoor party inspired by the joys of men in (small) uniforms. We’ll provide souvenir dog tags; you do the rest. |
| Revival! Classic Disco T-Dance |
Disco lives on as we take you back to the glory days of the 70s with an afternoon of pure musical magic on the dance floor. Artificial fabrics, excess facial hair, oversized shoes, and other obnoxious accessories welcome! |
| Think Pink T-Dance | Pink is in! It’s everywhere and brings out the playful in all of us. From Barbie butch to fluffy fantastic, throw on your favorite interpretation for a hot afternoon of frivolous dolled up fun. |

Communication Timeline
About Three Weeks Before Departure
Register for your cruise with the instructions that we’ll provide by email. You’ll need to provide passport information and other details directly to our cruise lines to complete your registration. We typically send out this information by email about a month prior to sailing. If you’re booking within a month of departure, it might take a little longer for us to add you to the cruise line’s manifest.
Pre-Order Shore Excursions. We work closely with our cruise lines to create exciting shore excursions just for our guests. These optional tours are the best way to see these amazing places in the company of your friends onboard. Space is often limited, so booking in advance is the best way to plan!
Review our preliminary schedule including party themes. We try to keep our party themes simple enough that you don’t have to worry about them long in advance. You can create a sensational outfit, shop for something fun, or simply come as you are — either way you’ll fit right in and have a great time. Themes for your cruise will be sent by email and posted right here on the “Already Booked” page about 3 weeks prior to departure.
