Dining Information Update
We will open dining reservations up for all guests at noon (Pacific Time) on Monday, June 26.  Please see the detailed information in the Vacation Guide about dining and reservations.  Note that to book a table with friends, you’ll need to get THEIR Oceania booking numbers as well as names as listed on the reservation.  But don’t panic – we’re keeping plenty of space for walk-ins and changes onboard.

Please do not call Atlantis for other guests booking numbers as we cannot give them out.

Pre and Post-Cruise Update
We still have rooms left at the Grand Hyatt in Athens for our pre-cruise program.  If you’re interested in joining us, please book before Monday, June 26.

We will not be offering a hotel in Venice.  Less than 20 of you expressed interest and that’s just not enough to warrant a group block in this very busy season.  Thank you for understanding.

Details on transfers are in the Vacation Guide.

What’s next? We’ll send another update out next week with last-minute arrival advice and information on Athens before our cruise!

Thank you again for selecting Atlantis and Oceania for your vacation. We look forward to showing you these amazing places together!

Warm regards,
Rich, James Q, James X, and the rest of Team Atlantis

Get Ready to Sail

We are so excited to show you the sparkling new Oceania Vista as we sail from Athens to Trieste next month! We know you’re going to love all that both Atlantis and Oceania have in store for you!Over the next few weeks, we’ll send you a series of emails to help you prepare for your vacation. There’s a fair amount of detail coming your way and we’ll do our best to assist if you have questions. Today’s task is the easiest – register online with Oceania Cruises and look over some of our exciting shore excursion options.  We’ve crafted some extraordinary experiences in these ports just for you!PLEASE NOTE  – only some of the Shore Excursion are fully loaded into Oceania’s system and some of the departure times in Kusadasi are incorrect.  These will be fixed in the coming days, and we’ll update you by email.  Just remember that some of the times on your shore excursions might change and Oceania will be adding offerings in several ports. You’ll also find information about pre and post cruise options as well as our party themes.  There’s a lot more to cover, but that will arrive in the next week or so.Please take a minute and review the following:

·         Register Online with Oceania and Begin Selecting Options

·         Pre and Post Cruise Information and Update

·         Our Party Themes

Next week we’ll open dining reservations (to be fair to everyone) and send out our Cruise Vacation Guide with details on our onboard entertainment, social events, parties, and what to expect during your cruise.Register Online with OceaniaPlease take a minute now to register online with Oceania at the following link:      https://www.oceaniacruises.comYou’ll have to create an account to register, so just click “My Account” first in the upper right corner of the screen.  Make sure you enter your name exactly as we have it: Alan Werner.Once you sign in you will need the following information to register.            Cruise Ship: Oceania Vista            Departure Date: July 5, 2023            Oceania Booking Number:             Your Passport DetailsPlease note that the Oceania Reservation Number is not the same as your Atlantis Confirmation Number. We want to keep things fair for everyone regarding bookings of the restaurants onboard. To do this, we will open bookings next week for all guests.   Dining reservation information will be sent out in a separate email early next week with exact timing and detailed instructions.Pre and Post Cruise UpdateWe’ve been researching pre and post cruise options now for a while and honestly, it’s tough. Venice is hosting the Rendatore on the 15th and it’s the busiest day of the year with canal closures and general madness.  We have not been able to secure any hotel rooms that make sense price-wise for our guests.  Athens is easier, and we have great options there! See below for more details.Athens Pre-Cruise PackagesAtlantis has a limited number of rooms available at both the Grand Hyatt and the Royal Olympic hotels.  Our 2-night package includes outstanding accommodations, an expert half-day tour of Athens and the Acropolis, transfers to the ship, and all taxes, gratuities, etc.  We promise an amazing time so please look at our excellent options. To add an Athens hotel package to your reservation, please call our office on 310-859-8800 and one of our friendly team will assist you.Venice / Trieste Post-Cruise OptionsWe have not been able to organize a hotel package for Venice due to the Rendatore, but Atlantis will offer transfers from Trieste to the airport and into Venice itself.  Details will be available in next week’s email along with booking instructions. If there’s enough interest, we will try once again to get rooms in Venice or Trieste.  If this is something that you would consider, please take 2 minutes to answer this very brief survey below. You only need to complete this survey if you’re interested in a Venice post-cruise hotel/tour package.            https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AV23PostParty Themes PreviewAs you may know, some, but not all, of our t-dances and evening parties will have themes that inspire an original outfit.  Here are the ones you might want to think about.  All parties will take place outdoors on the pool deck.

Mount Olympus

Everyone up here is a (Greek) God and tonight it’s your turn for a dance with Greece’s longest-running celebrities. Dust off your college classics and pull together your best god or goddess-like looks for a night of mythological splendor. Mere mortals and worshippers welcome, of course.

It’s Bazaar

This one you can’t pack or plan for. Your task is simple – shop the grand Bazaars in Istanbul or Kusadasi for appropriately local and capturing the spirit of the place. Think zany accessories, souvenirs in strange places, flowing fabrics, sparkly things, or whatever they manage to sell you! Less is more and like a good shopper the goal is to spend as little as possible.  So, haggle away! Tourists and shop keepers welcome!

One Tribe | White Party

Atlantis is all about community and our biggest party revels in our differences and celebrates the joys of being together. It’s a night for everyone to enjoy in one simple color that you all look fabulous in.  Let your imagination run wild or keep it simple.

Dog Tag T-Dance

The longest running Atlantis t-dance celebrates minimal military style any way you desire. We’ll bring the dog tags, you do the rest.

Classic Disco T-Dance

The spirit of the 70s & early 80s returns for some retro fun in the sun when we all had too much real hair and a fascination with artificial fabrics.

Greek Isles T-Dance

Beat the heat with the sizzling spirit of the world’s most famous island playgrounds. From Mykonos chic to fisherman practical, there’s an abundance of looks to celebrate these gorgeous islands. Think blue & white and everything in between.

Refer a Friend and All Drinks are On Us!We still have around 25 rooms open for sale for a variety of reasons. We thought that the best way to fill them was to go to our current guests with an amazing deal!If you refer a friend to book this cruise, we’ll give both you and your friends a FREE premium beverage package for the sailing (including most alcoholic drinks!).  The free beverage package applies to all guests in both the referring and new staterooms.  That’s a $1700 value per room! This offer is valid only for new bookings made after June 9, 2023.To claim your packages, all you need to do is let us know that the new booking was referred by you, before your friends make their reservation. Or your friends can notify us when they book.  It’s that easy. It’s a great time to call a friend – you’ll share this amazing adventure and treat them to some incredible savings in the process! And you’ll drink for FREE!

That’s all for now! Thank you again for choosing Atlantis for your vacation and watch your inbox for another update next week.Warm regards,Rich, James Q, James X, and the rest of Team Atlantis

Communications Timeline

About Three Weeks Before Departure
Register for your cruise with the instructions that we’ll provide by email. You’ll need to provide passport information and other details directly to our cruise lines to complete your registration. We typically send out this information by email about a month prior to sailing. If you’re booking within a month of departure, it might take a little longer for us to add you to the cruise line’s manifest.

Pre-Order Shore Excursions. We work closely with our cruise lines to create exciting shore excursions just for our guests. These optional tours are the best way to see these amazing places in the company of your friends onboard. Space is often limited, so booking in advance is the best way to plan!

Review our preliminary schedule including party themes. We try to keep our party themes simple enough that you don’t have to worry about them long in advance. You can create a sensational outfit, shop for something fun, or simply come as you are — either way you’ll fit right in and have a great time. Themes for your cruise will be sent by email and posted right here on the “Already Booked” page about 4 weeks prior to departure.
