Register Online with Norwegian Cruise Lines
In order to embark smoothly, it’s important to check-in with NCL at least 3 days prior to sailing.
Please take a time now to register online with NCL.  It only takes a few minutes, and you can start at the following link:
https://www.ncl.com/
Click on the “Manage” tab on the upper right part of the page and then select “check-in”. You’ll have to create an account with NCL if you don’t already have one.
Once you complete the online registration, you should print your Cruise Documents and hang onto them to bring to the pier on the 22nd.
Before you start registration, please note the following in the Explore and Plan section of registration are either incorrect or are different for a charter sailing:

  • Dining reservations are now available in advance. These can only be booked onboard due to system limitations but can be booked for your entire cruise. Details are in the Cruise Vacation Guide.
  • Non-alcoholic beverage packages are available. Alcohol packages are not offered on charter sailings, but drink ticket packages will be available for purchase onboard.
  • We’ve created some amazing excursions just for you. Details are available when you check in.
  • Spa appointments are available for the entire cruise.
  • Ignore the entertainment section! It’s not relevant for our sailing.  The Vacation guide has our complete lineup.

You will need the following information to register:
Ship: Norwegian Prima
Date: January 22, 2023
Your NCL Reservation #: {your id number here}
Name EXACTLY as we have it: {your name here}
Passport Number and Expiration Date

If your booking number does not appear above, it means that we are still waiting for confirmation from Norwegian and we will send it to you before Wednesday. We know that many of you have not received a full booking number yet and NCL is working on this as quickly as possible.

Please note that your NCL Booking Number is not the same as your Atlantis Confirmation Number. Also, you must enter your name and Booking Number exactly as shown above. If you have any issues registering, it’s possible there was an error in the spelling of your name. We can assist with this correction by calling Atlantis at 310-859-8800.

Each room has only one NCL Booking Number assigned. If your roommate or partner didn’t receive their own email, it’s probably because we only had this one on file for both of you. They will use the same booking number for registration.

Once registered, please print your Boarding Pass and bring it to the pier to save time at security and check in.

Should you encounter any issues registering with NCL, please contact them directly at 866-234-7350 as Atlantis doesn’t have control over this system. If you are not able to successfully pre-register, please do not worry, as it will not affect your booking status or ability to board.

Finally, if one of the NCL call center employees says that they cannot assist you, please get their name (and time of the call) so we can help clean up the process. Some of them do not understand charter operations and we have had a few challenges.  Thank you for assisting.

Transfers to Port Canaveral
Norwegian has transfers available to Port Canaveral for purchase and they must be booked no later than January 18.  You can add or book transfers on the NCL website when you sign into your account for check-in (or afterwards).

Transfers are available to and from the Orlando airport only, with the last departure around 1:30 pm.

Transfers from the ship to the airport on January 29 will be available for purchase onboard.

New! Beverage Packages Available Onboard
We’re thrilled to announce that Norwegian will offer alcoholic beverage packages to Atlantis guests. You can purchase a package of 20 drink coupons once onboard.  Details on purchasing these will  provided when you embark.

We used a similar system on our recent Bliss and Pearl charters and the response was overwhelming.  Not only did it speed up service considerably, but you enjoy a substantial savings. And of course, the coupons can be easily shared by friends!

Fabulous Merchandise Onboard Prima
Our friends at ES Collection, Addicted, and AD Fetish will be onboard Prima with a truly amazing collection of sportswear, party gear, and super-sexy merchandise designed by and for gay men. It’s the only place on earth (or sea) with this sensational collection and we cannot wait to show it to you.

Check out their shop onboard – they have (almost) everything you need!

Thank you again for selecting Atlantis for your vacation.  Look for another update on Friday before we sail with updated information and last-minute arrival advice.

We can’t wait to see you Sunday in Florida for this amazing cruise.

Warm regards,
Rich, James Q, James X, Malcolm, and the rest of Team Atlantis

Your Party Themes
We have a lot of exciting entertainment planned for your holiday, including some ridiculously fun parties! Here’s a preview of the major theme nights during your cruise. As with all our events, costumes are completely optional – we want you to be comfortable and enjoy yourself as you are.  You’ll have a great time no matter what!

Mother Earth Our planet needs some love and care, so tonight, we celebrate the beauty of the elements around us: Fire, Water, Earth, Sky. Be a literal element or a person that’s surrounded by one, or just come as an original citizen of the world! Let’s try to cool down Mother Earth with some creativity and craziness.
Into the Jungle We’re going deep tonight into uncharted territory, where things are as wild as it gets. In the only jungle at sea, you’ll find scantily clad native wannabees, dangerous animal prints, hunters without mobile services, and maybe some strangely moving foliage. Follow the beats to the dance floor and watch out for the occasional castaway cruise ship passenger.
Playground Fast, flashy, bright, and silly! We’re turning the Theater into a musical playground filled with bouncy sounds that are sure to bring a smile to your face. Neon, sparkles, and lights are the way to go tonight, and don’t take anything too seriously!
White Dreams Let your imagination run wild at Atlantis’ pinnacle party. Celebrate the joys of harmony in our community by dressing up or down in one simple color that everyone looks good in. Be as creative as your dreams, as sexy as your desires, as irreverent as your laughs, or keep it simple with your favorite white shorts. All are welcome here at an epic party that takes you into dawn and beyond!
Dog Tag T-Dance The troops come home for Atlantis’ longest-running signature afternoon party. Show your creative strength at our first big outdoor party inspired by the joys of men in (small) uniforms. We’ll provide souvenir dog tags, you do the rest.
Disco Daze T-Dance Disco lives on as we take you back to the glory days of the 70s with an afternoon of pure musical magic on the dance floor. Artificial fabrics, excess facial hair, oversized shoes, and other obnoxious accessories welcome!
Over the Rainbow T-Dance This one isn’t just about Dorothy or a scary multicolor tube-top from Pride. But that’s a start. Show up as a singular color from your own personal rainbow, an Oz-like inspiration, or the worst combination of colors you can pull together. And if you’re just “over” the rainbow, come as you are and enjoy!

Transfers to Port Canaveral
Norwegian will have transfers available to Port Canaveral for purchase, but these have not yet been loaded into their cruise customization options.  We will notify you by email as soon as they are available.

Transfers are available to and from the Orlando airport only, with the last departure around 1:30 pm.

Watch your inbox for details on how to book in the coming days.

Pre-Cruise Update
We tried, but unfortunately couldn’t put together a pre-cruise program in Orlando that would have made sense financially.  The rates we were offered (and we looked everywhere) for groups of our size were consistently higher than you can find on your own.

We will offer meeting points and times at both Disney World and Universal Studios on Saturday, January 21 for guests who plan to visit the parks. We are also looking for a space to host a pre-cruise event on January 20.  Look for details in the Cruise Vacation Guide next week.

We apologize for any disappointment on this. It just didn’t make sense to offer something that is not a good value or positive experience for all.  Thank you for understanding.

What happens next?  We’ll send an update email next week, with your Cruise Vacation Guide containing a full preview of our entertainment and how to prepare for this exciting adventure.

Until then, enjoy your holiday week and have a very Happy New Year!  We cannot wait to see you onboard Prima next month!

Warm regards,
Rich, James Q, James X, Malcolm, and the rest of your Atlantis family

Communications Timeline

About Three Weeks Before Departure
Register for your cruise with the instructions that we’ll provide by email. You’ll need to provide passport information and other details directly to our cruise lines to complete your registration. We typically send out this information by email about a month prior to sailing. If you’re booking within a month of departure, it might take a little longer for us to add you to the cruise line’s manifest.

Pre-Order Shore Excursions. We work closely with our cruise lines to create exciting shore excursions just for our guests. These optional tours are the best way to see these amazing places in the company of your friends onboard. Space is often limited, so booking in advance is the best way to plan!

Review our preliminary schedule including party themes. We try to keep our party themes simple enough that you don’t have to worry about them long in advance. You can create a sensational outfit, shop for something fun, or simply come as you are — either way you’ll fit right in and have a great time. Themes for your cruise will be sent by email and posted right here on the “Already Booked” page about 4 weeks prior to departure.

Two Weeks Before Departure
Read Our Cruise Vacation Guide with valuable information about your ship, the entertainment, our ports, packing advice, and so much more. We’ll notify you by email once this document is available for download.

The Last Days Before Departure
Check your email for any last-minute communications regarding boarding advice, weather updates, parties in our departure city, and other things that might come up.
