Register Now with Royal Caribbean
Please take a minute now to register online with Royal Caribbean before August 25. It only takes a minute, and you can start at the following link:

If you don’t have one yet, you’ll need to set up an account with Royal Caribbean. Additionally, you’ll need to download the Royal Caribbean app to your mobile phone in order to complete the check-in process. Once you complete the online registration, the final details will remain in the app on your phone.

Before you start registration, please note the following in the Cruise Planner or you’ll waste a lot of time and energy:

• Ignore the entertainment section. It’s their standard setup and is dead wrong for now. But you’ll be able to book show reservations onboard using the app!
• Dining reservations are available, including some amazing dining packages that save a lot!
• Spa appointments are available for the port days only. Sea days will be available onboard.

You will need the following information to register:

Should you encounter trouble with Royal’s online system, please contact them directly at (866) 562-7625. Atlantis does not have access or the ability to make changes to the Royal Caribbean system. If you are not able to successfully check-in online, please do not worry as it will not affect you booking status or ability to board.

Customize Your Cruise Experience
Once you are registered, you will find many ways to customize your cruise. Royal Caribbean has added a lot of exciting options to our journey, with many new ones that haven’t been available previously. Here are some of the highlights:

• Shore Excursions are available for each amazing port. We strongly recommend securing space in advance and have worked closely with Royal to develop some thrilling options everywhere.
• Internet packages are available at a discount to rates onboard!
• New dining packages let you enjoy the fantastic restaurants around Odyssey with huge savings. There’s even a new “unlimited dining package” that saves you almost 50%.
• Soda packages and water packages are also available

We are also pleased to announce that Royal Caribbean is offering a new alcoholic beverage package to Atlantis guests for the first time ever. See the next section for details!

Although you may book most of the above packages onboard, booking online will save time get you exactly what you want in advance. Most have plenty of availability, but there is always that chance that some options will sell out. All cruise options will be available until August 25.

Beverage Packages Still Available
As we’ve done in the past 3 years, Royal Caribbean will offer alcoholic beverage packages to Atlantis guests. You can purchase a package of 20 drink coupons in advance for just $225, with each coupon valid for up to a $14 drink at any bar. The coupons may also be used to buy 2 non-alcoholic beverages.

We used a similar system on our recent Harmony charter and the response was overwhelming. Not only did it speed up service considerably, but you enjoy a substantial savings. And of course, the coupons can be easily shared by friends!

Since Royal Caribbean’s booking site can’t handle coupons yet (long story), we’re making it easy and letting you add the packages directly to your Atlantis reservation and the coupon books will be available for express pickup on our first day onboard.

To purchase beverage packages in advance, please sign into your Atlantis account here and follow the steps below:

1. Click on Your Upcoming Reservation by clicking your name that appears on the top right corner of the webpage.

2. After that, choose “View/Modify” under your Odyssey Cruise reservation. You will then be directed to your reservation summary, with “Add More Options” available at the bottom of the page.

3. From there, click Add Drink Tickets and you will be able to purchase drink tickets accordingly.

A few restrictions apply and Royal’s standard 18% gratuity is added to the coupon book at time of purchase. The rates on our website are the same as you will pay onboard, but onboard it will take a lot longer to get the packages!

Purchase Transfers to Odyssey from Rome or the Airport
These are your last few days to purchase transfers to the pier! This is still the best (and usually cheapest) option to get to the pier. A taxi will cost around €150-175 and there is very limited service from the train station to the pier.

Atlantis is offering transfers on August 28 from both Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and central Rome to the port in Civitavecchia.

The pickup for Rome is at Otiense Station, with pickups at assigned times starting at noon. We will assign pick-up times later this week and notify all guests of their pickup time in a confirmation email.

If you are coming from the airport, please provide your flight details at the time of booking. Without that information we will be unable to have a greeter meet you outside of customs.

All reservations for transfers must be made online before August 25 and are non-refundable once purchased.

Please Plan Your Transfers Now
From what we can tell, most of you have not realistically looked at transfers from Rome or the Airport to the ship. We have transfers available at very low fares from both the airport and Rome city center to Civitavecchia.

There is no way for over 2000 of you to take trains to the ship and all get there by 3:00 pm.  If that is your plan, please make sure you have ticket now for an early train, and have a backup plan in case the trains get canceled, go on strike (happens a lot), delay, or break down. More importantly, please realize that there are very few taxis from the station and walking a mile and a half with luggage is not a great idea.  

Taxis from Rome are around €120-150 and slightly lower from the airport.  

Regardless of what you plan do to, please make a plan now.  We offer the transfers as a service at roughly our cost to get you there quickly and easily.

Our transfers will be available until August 17.  To add them, you can book online or simply call our office.

We have a lot of exciting entertainment planned for your holiday, including some ridiculously fun parties! Here’s a preview of the major theme nights during your cruise. As with all our events, costumes are completely optional – we want you to be comfortable and enjoy yourself as you are. You’ll have a great time no matter what!

We are writing to inform you of a change in the port order on our itinerary. The port of Ibiza made a change to their berthing arrangements for September and was no longer able to accommodate Odyssey on our originally scheduled date. Luckily, we were able to secure a new overnight call on September 3, but in doing so Royal Caribbean has had to change the operating order for the other ports.

As a result, we had to drop our calls to both Marseilles and Cagliari to accommodate most the original itinerary. The good news is that we now have longer stays in all ports and have added two fabulous sea days (which many of you were asking for).

In many ways, this is a more relaxed sailing with more time to enjoy all that Odyssey has to offer while offering the “star” ports additional exploration time. 

Your new itinerary is as follows:

We just received this itinerary on Friday afternoon and are working to adjust our programming and talent to accommodate the changes.  In the next few days, we will send out details on party themes, registration with Royal Caribbean, and shore excursions.  Please watch your inbox for more details.

Please note that this change was initialed completely by Royal Caribbean due to port availability issues. Atlantis has worked for weeks to try to find alternate solutions, and this was the best and only option in order to keep Ibiza and the other major ports. 

As many of you know, itineraries are always subject to change and while we ty to avoid such changes, they do happen for a variety of reasons.  We know that this will be an extraordinary cruise in every way and cannot wait to see you onboard.
