We can’t wait to see you later this month for our Halloween LA to Mexico cruise on Norwegian Bliss! This email contains a lot of essential information to help you prepare for the cruise, so please take a few minutes to read through it, and start the online check-in process sooner rather than later.
Here’s today’s update
• Party Themes and Packing Advice
• Complete Your Online Registration and Virtual Safety Drill
• Sailing Safely
Late next week we’ll send out our cruise vacation guide with full details on our entertainment programming and what to expect onboard.
Finally, please note that due to an administrative error, the port order was reversed on our website. It has been corrected and doesn’t impact the cruise in any way.
Party Themes and Packing Advice
It’s time to play again, and what better time to dress up (or down) than over Halloween! Of course, with Atlantis our themes are meant to inspire not require and any costumes are completely optional.
All parties will be held outdoors on deck. Due to COVID-19 restrictions there are no indoor party events during the week.
Dog Tag T-Dance
Atlantis’ signature T-dance sails the Pacific where men in (small) uniforms are the fashion. Be inspired by military fashion with any creative take you wish. Just please leave the toy weapons at home. It’s a party, not a battle! We’ll provide dog tags, you do the rest!
Tropical Heat T-Dance
Soak up the sun with the hottest T-dance of the week as we bring the beach vibe onboard for an afternoon of shoreside silliness. It’s all about the beach, with bright swimwear, fashionable accessories, silly beach toys, and sunglasses you can lose.
Classic Disco T-Dance
Disco lives on as we take you back to the glory days of the 70s for an afternoon of pure musical magic on the dance floor. Artificial fabrics, excess facial hair, oversized shoes, and obnoxious accessories welcome!
When you step onboard Bliss, things might not all be as they seem. Once our ship disappears into Halloween night, all manner of spirits emerges in strange and unlikely ways as she transforms into a dark shadow hosting the LGBT (Lost, Ghosting, Bereaved, Transformed) community.
Every room has a story and a scare as we take you back to the Halloween of your childhood where dressing up and going door-to-door had its rewards. Dress up for thrills, scares, showing off, or whatever you dream of. Or tag along as an incognito chaperone.
Day of the Dead
Mexico’s biggest and most colorful celebration of the departed takes to the high seas. Anything goes, from traditional brightly colored skulls, skeletons, and fantastical creatures to a more whimsical interpretation of those in the great beyond. Of course, those in the land of the living are more than welcome… for now!
Nature meets neon in the heat of the night! It might be a jungle out there but ours is bright as day-glo. Watch what happens when we mash up native, tribal, and animal styles with a little neon shine. Think light up leopard, florescent bodypaint, or glittering gilded accessories. Tourists and researchers welcome.
Reunion - The White Party
It’s been a long year and a half of not seeing people, so we’re dedicating our biggest party of the week to the joys of being together again. There’s no easier theme than a non-color that everyone looks terrific in, so dress up, down, silly, or serious – all in whatever white suits you. All are welcome and celebrated here tonight.
Complete Online Check-In Now with NCL
This year, it’s important to check-in with NCL early. The safety drill that normally happens on the first day is now a “virtual event” that you complete during the check-in process and all guests must have completed it prior to embarkation.
Additionally, due to COVID-19 restrictions we need to control the flow with assigned arrival times. You’ll also receive these at check-in. So, please take a time now to register online with NCL. It only takes a few minutes and you can start at the following link:
Click on the "Manage" tab on the upper right part of the page and then select "check-in". You'll have to create an account with NCL if you don't already have one.
Once you complete the online registration, you should print your Cruise Documents and hang onto them to bring to the pier on the 31st.
Before you start registration, please note the following in the Explore and Plan section of registration are either incorrect or are different for a charter sailing:
You will need the following information to register:
Dining reservations are not available in advance. These can only be booked onboard and will be available initially for the first two days of your cruise. Details will be in the Cruise Vacation Guide.
Non-alcoholic beverage packages are available. Alcohol packages are not offered on charter sailings. We are working on some special options onboard, including wine packages.
We've created some amazing excursions just for you. Details are available when you check in.
Spa appointments are available for the entire cruise.
Ignore the entertainment section! Obviously, we'll have a lot more for you.
Ship: Norwegian Bliss
Date: October 31, 2021
Your NCL Reservation #: (Your Reservation Number)
Name EXACTLY as we have it: (Your first and last name from confirmation emails)
Passport Number and Expiration Date
If your booking number does not appear above, it means that we are still waiting for confirmation from Norwegian and we will send it to you in a few days.
Please note that your NCL Booking Number is not the same as your Atlantis Confirmation Number. Also, you must enter your name and Booking Number exactly as shown above. If you have any issues registering, it’s possible there was an error in the spelling of your name. We can assist with this correction by calling Atlantis at 310-859-8800.
Each room has only one NCL Booking Number assigned. If your roommate or partner didn't receive their own email, it's probably because we only had this one on file for both of you. They will use the same booking number for registration.
Once registered, please print your Boarding Pass and bring it to the pier to save time at security and check in.
Should you encounter any issues registering with NCL, please contact them directly at 866-234-7350 as Atlantis doesn’t have control over this system. If you are not able to successfully pre-register, please do not worry, as it will not affect your booking status or ability to board.
As you are well aware, there are several Covid-19 safety protocols now in place to assure a safe experience for all. We wanted to share a few of the pertinent highlights to prepare you for your journey.
Complete details about NCL’s extensive Covid-19 policies can be found here:
All guests must present proof of vaccination in order to sail. Vaccines authorized by the USA, Canada, and EU will be accepted and you must have received your last dose before October 16. The crew is 100% vaccinated.
All guests must also provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (antigen or PCR) taken within 72 hours of arrival. Details on uploading this information will be provided about 2 weeks before sailing.
All guests will undergo a rapid test upon arrival. There is no extra cost for this test.
Masks are not required, but we ask that you keep one with you, and wear it when approaching a bar or any other crew member. We want to keep them safe and respect their work environment.
Please note that Atlantis has an extra layer of protection required due to the social nature of our group. We truly appreciate your cooperation in keeping Atlantis safe for all.
That’s all for now. Look for more details about our onboard programming in the Cruise Vacation Guide late next week.
Once again, thank you for choosing Atlantis for your vacation and we cannot wait to see you here in Los Angeles for our biggest party of the year!
